Shenlong Guardian Companion - Complete Guide

Introduction
The Shenlong Guardian Companion system allows players who have reached Dragon Rank 200 to continue progressing through a companion that levels independently, absorbs weapons for stat bonuses, and can be reborn to increase its potential.

Getting Started

• Access the System: Open via Start → Character → Reborn Dragon
• Prerequisites: You must be at Dragon Rank 200 and have the Shenlong buff active
• Initial State: Your companion starts at Level 1 while your character remains at DR 200

Leveling Your Companion

• Your companion gains XP as you defeat monsters
• Progress from Level 1-150, then Rank 1-200
• Weekly level caps apply - new content unlocks each week
• Check the UI for your current level/rank and XP progress

Weapon Absorption System

Basic Mechanics

• Absorb weapons to gain their stats permanently
• Absorption is partial per attempt - multiple absorptions of the same weapon are needed to reach 100%
• Absorption percentage is influenced by the weapon's reroll stats
• Each absorption requires a matching Mana Stone

Requirements

• Weapons must be the same level or lower than your companion
• Only class-appropriate weapons can be absorbed
• You need the correct Mana Stone for the slot you're using

Steps to Absorb a Weapon

1. Collect Mana Stones from gates in the Fortress of Rebirth
2. Open the absorption interface
3. Drop your weapon into the weapon slot
4. Drop the appropriate Mana Stone into the crystal slot:
   • Slot 1: Mana Stone Blue
   • Slot 2: Mana Stone Green (unlocked after first rebirth)
   • Slot 3: Mana Stone Purple (unlocked after second rebirth)
5. Click "Absorb"
6. Repeat with the same weapon until you reach 100% absorption

What Gets Absorbed

• Base weapon stats (min/max attack, additional stats)
• Stats are applied proportionally to the absorption percentage
• Not Absorbed: Diamonds, jewels, weapon upgrades, or other added modifiers

Rebirth System

• Rebirth resets your companion's level/rank but preserves previous absorptions
• Each rebirth unlocks a new weapon absorption slot (maximum 3 slots)
• Requirements increase with each rebirth:
  • First rebirth: 1 Cup of Reincarnation
  • Second rebirth: 2 Cups of Reincarnation
  • Third rebirth: 3 Cups of Reincarnation

Special Notes

• You must have your Shenlong buff active to benefit from absorbed weapon stats
• Hover over your companion buff icon to see your absorption stats and percentages
• You can replace an absorbed weapon by absorbing a different weapon in the same slot
• Higher rank weapons generally require more Mana Stones for absorption

Tips

• Focus on absorbing weapons with stats that complement your build
• Prioritize weapons with good reroll values to increase absorption percentages
• Save Cups of Reincarnation for rebirth - don't use them for other purposes
• Complete the full absorption (100%) of a weapon before attempting rebirth
